Grew up in Ranchi and now live in Mumbai two cities that in their own way, pulse with a deep love for cinema. That connection to storytelling through images was impossible to ignore. Even as a kid, I was fascinated by the emotional weight a single frame could carry. How sometimes visuals could say what words simply couldn't.
That fascination became a passion. Whether it’s a commercial, a web series, or a feature film, I’ve always gravitated towards projects where storytelling and visual design go hand in hand. I’m constantly chasing new ways to evolve my style experimenting with lighting, framing, and movement to create images that do more than look good; they feel right.
My approach is immersive and intuitive. I prefer to let the camera melt into the story, becoming an invisible part of the world we’re creating. It’s all about drawing the audience in making them feel like they’re right there, inside the moment.
To date, I’ve shot over 150 commercials across genres and styles. My journey in narrative cinema began with Bang Bang (2014), directed by Siddharth Anand. I had the incredible opportunity to work as an associate cinematographer alongside Benjamin Jasper, the acclaimed Australian DOP. Since then, I’ve collaborated on a range of feature films and web series—you can find more on those in the “Feature & Web Series” section of my website.
These days, I’m fortunate to be working closely with some of the most exciting young directors in the industry. diving deeper into ad films, narrative work, and branded content sharpening my craft and staying open to whatever the next story demands.
There’s more to the story, of course. If you’re curious, the industry-renowned *WICA (Western India Cinematographers’ Association)* recently featured me in an in-depth interview on their official platform.
